McCreary County and Pulaski County Permanently Enjoined from Posting the Ten Commandments:
The counties that were the subject of the U.S. Supreme Court's 2005 decision have been permanently banned from posting the Ten Commandments. Apparently, they did not come up with sufficient secular reasons for posting them.
Ten Commandments Display Going to Trial: From Haskell County, Oklahoma comes a lawsuit by the ACLU, on behalf of a named client this time, to remove an 8-foot tall, privately-funded Ten Commandments display on a courthouse lawn. The monument does include the Mayflower Compact on the reverse side.
